Leather Folding

Leather can be folded in numerous ways and will provide a quality finish compared to raw edge binding.

Using our unrivalled binding component as a base, folding can be produced in a variety of finished widths from 3mm to 25mm, with or without top stitching. We use a range of folding techniques including edge to edge, edge to centre and pre-folded edges.

Folded leathers each have their specific uses, for example, edge to edge with or without stitching can be used for handbag straps, edge to centre folded leather is commonly used in upholstery and fashion items to cover seams.

The majority of folding products we produce is manufactured using specialised machinery, however, we have also hand-folded leather around very thick core, finished with stitching for bag straps.
