Leather Piping

Leather and suede piping can be produced in a variety of finishes and filled with either woven, PU or PVC cores in a range of diameters.

Woven is strong and flexible and ideal for clothing. Solid PU and hollow PVC is best used for shape retention in piping and is ideal for bags, luggage and upholstery.

Once the core has been inserted we can either stitch and trim the leather (usually for straps) or we can gimp the edges, which is ideal for placing between seams and especially useful for tight corners.

Piping can also be used for other applications such as toggle loops and drawstrings.

Using our unrivalled binding component as a base, piping can be manufactured on a continuous roll, which will aid its application on the final product.
